NIGHT WAKING • CHECKLIST

Prepare a Calm Night-Settling Plan

Decide what happens at 2am while you are still awake enough to think, and write it into a plan you can follow half asleep.

🔥 Decide it now · not at 2am

An interactive checklist that walks you through preparing the room, the sequence and the wording, then builds your finished night plan from what you fill in. For parents who improvise every wake-up and would rather have one plan they can repeat.

Built for households where two people currently settle the same child two different ways.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You improvise, and every night is different

At 2am you make it up as you go

Half asleep, you try whatever comes to mind first, which is rarely the thing that worked last time.

You and your partner settle completely differently

One picks up straight away, the other waits, and the child gets two conflicting messages in one night.

The lights, the talking, the tidying — and now they are wide awake

Small decisions taken in the dark end up waking everyone properly instead of easing the night back down.

You have read about routines but not about what to do at 3am

Plenty of advice covers bedtime; almost none of it tells you the exact sequence for the middle of the night.

WHAT’S INSIDE

Inside the checklist

Remove decisions that create unnecessary stimulation

A look at the small night-time choices that quietly wake a child further, and how to take them off the table in advance.

Build a plan you could remember half asleep

What makes a night plan simple enough to survive the fourth wake-up without you having to think.

1 · Begin

The opening move of your settling sequence, defined before the night starts so you never have to invent one.

2 · Support

The middle stretch of the plan, where you decide in daylight how much help you are prepared to give.

3 · Close

How your settling ends, so both of you know what “done” looks like instead of drifting on indefinitely.

Prepare only what keeps the night quiet

A short preparation pass over the room and the essentials, kept deliberately minimal.

Keep the plan flexible enough for different nights

How to leave room for teething, travel and off nights without the plan collapsing entirely.

Turn the checklist into your own night plan

The fill-in section that assembles everything you have chosen into one plan in your own words.

Create a plan that stays calm without becoming rigid

Where to hold the line and where to bend, so a plan built for calm does not turn into another pressure.

Questions, answered

How do I get the checklist after buying?
+

The download link appears on the order confirmation page and in your email receipt immediately after checkout. It is a digital file, so there is nothing to wait for.

Do I have to print it, or can I fill it in on screen?
+

It is interactive, so the tick boxes and text fields work on screen. You can still print it if you would rather keep a copy by the cot.

What devices can I use it on?
+

Any phone, tablet or laptop, with nothing to install and no subscription. It works offline once you have downloaded it, so you can open your plan in the middle of the night without signal.

What if my partner settles our baby differently?
+

The checklist is designed to be filled in together, so you agree the sequence and the wording in daylight. Both of you end up following the same night plan instead of two versions.

Will a fixed night plan work when every night is different?
+

The plan is built with deliberate flexibility, and one section is about keeping it usable on off nights. It gives you a default to return to rather than a script you must never break.

What is your refund policy?
+

Refunds are handled under the store’s Refund Policy (30 days). Because this is a digital download, access rules for delivered files apply.
