SOUND FAMILIAR?

A bed with no sides changes everything

The cot is no longer keeping anyone in

A leg over the rail once is a story; twice means the decision has been made for you, ready or not.

You and your partner answer differently at 9pm

One of you walks them back in silence, the other negotiates, and your toddler has noticed the gap.

The room suddenly has to be toddler-proof

Everything that was out of reach in a cot is now reachable at midnight, and you are not sure where to start looking.

You want a boundary you can actually hold

Rules that sound reasonable in daylight fall apart on the fourth trip out of the bedroom.

WHAT’S INSIDE

Inside the checklist

Prepare more than the bed itself

Sets out the parts of this move that have nothing to do with furniture, and why they carry most of the outcome.

Safety comes first

Walks your attention around the room the way a newly mobile toddler will travel through it at night.

Boundaries work better when they are simple

Why one clear expectation outlasts a list of conditions once everyone is tired.

Check the space your child will actually move through

A tick-through of the route from bed to door to landing, so nothing surprising is left in the way.

Choose the kind of response you want to repeat

Fields where both parents settle on one answer to give at the doorway, before the first night tests it.

Sketch a gentle transition evening

A place to draft the first evening in the big bed, in the order you will actually do it.

Ask for help planning the move to a toddler bed

Gathers your answers into a clear summary you can hand to a partner, a grandparent or an AI assistant.

Personalised ChatGPT prompt

A copy-ready prompt built from your own entries, so the plan you get back matches your room and your rules.

Agree on the plan before the cot side comes down

Download the checklist, work through it together, and start the big-bed move with one shared answer instead of two different ones.

Questions, answered

How do I get the checklist after buying?
+

The download link appears on your order confirmation page and in your email receipt right after checkout. Access is instant, so you can plan the move today.

Do the checkboxes and fields really work, or do I have to print it?
+

They really work — you tick and type on screen as you go through it. Printing it is a choice, not a requirement.

What devices can I use it on?
+

It opens on phones, tablets and laptops, with no app or subscription needed. Filling it in on a shared device is the easiest way for two parents to end up on the same page.

When is the right time to move to a toddler bed?
+

There is no single right age, so the checklist focuses on readiness signals, room safety and a boundary you can repeat. It is equally useful whether you are moving early because of climbing or later by choice.

Do I need ChatGPT to use it?
+

No. The checklist works entirely on its own, and the final prompt is an optional extra step if you want a longer plan written around your answers.

What is your refund policy?
+

Refunds are handled under the store’s Refund Policy (30 days). Because this is a digital download, access rules for delivered files apply.
